Delete your account

In the app

On the Home tab, tap your profile picture at the top, then under Account tap your email address (or Not signed in), then Delete account. You’re signed out right away, and your account is deleted 30 days later. Changed your mind? If you signed in with Apple, Google or email, sign back in before then and tap Restore account. An account you never signed in to can’t be restored. We email you once it’s deleted, if we have your email address.

By email

If you can’t open the app, email support@petumi.app with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email you use to sign in to Petumi (with Apple, Google or email), so we can confirm it’s yours. We’ll reply once it’s done.

What gets deleted

• Your account, your profile in your family, and your notification settings.
• If you’re the only member of your family, the whole family: pets, logs, reminders, chat, memories, creations and credits.
• If others remain in your family, the family stays with them. The records you added to its shared history stay too, shown as from a deleted user, without your name or photo. Delete anything you don’t want to leave behind before deleting your account. If you were the family’s owner, the member who joined earliest becomes the owner.

If you’re the only member, your family’s data is removed from our systems when your account is deleted. Otherwise, your account and profile are removed, and what you added stays with the family as described above. We keep purchase records only as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.

Your subscription

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings — see Support.
